The University of Göttingen, through Professor Kolbe and Mr. Marrone, is researching into performance management and measures.

Performance management and measures, as well as IT Service frameworks are primary areas of interest in the research of PhD candidate Mauricio Marrone.

The main question of the research is to understand the impact that IT frameworks, specifically ITIL, have on productivity in the IT organization.

Therefore we plan to partner with around 20 companies to analyze their IT/IS system in a simple uncomplicated manner. The project focuses on comparing anonymously these companies to understand which sections of the IT Service frameworks have any impact on a company.

The results will allow IT managers to concentrate on the critical sections of implementation of IT Service framework, and will give those managers who participate, a chance to understand the effectiveness of their IT/ARE departments, be benchmarked, and receive suggestions of areas that could be improved.

There are no costs involved and all information gathered during the survey will be kept confidential and anonymous.
